We can learn a lot from our children if we're just open to it. I'm John Fuller along with Danny

Werta and Danny I'm sure that along the way your kids have taught you a thing or two either intentionally or perhaps unintentionally.

I've had so many different stories and one that stands out was a recent one.

I called home and said hey I'm coming home and that's just a rhythm we have in our home.

And my daughter said dad when you get home just know I'm going to be running full speed and

you need to catch me.

I didn't know what that looked like, what she meant by that, but I said, okay, you know, we'll do that. That's something different. And I pulled up into the garage, grab my backpack and something else in my hands and as I'm walking through the door

sure enough here comes a girl around the corner she's 12 and a half at the time and

then actually no she was 13 and she jumps in the air and I had things in my hand I had to drop them to catch her

So she was literal she was all right catch me she was all in

In the air and I was going, I needed, I mean there was no choice, I threw everything down and caught her and it gave me the picture of how I need to trust God, wholeheartedly.

I need to be in my all in.

Am I going to jump?

Am I going to truly trust God?

And we had that great conversation.

I said, you just gave me a picture of a reminder I needed of how God wants me to treat our relationship.

That he, I have that excitement to jump into his arms and to trust him wholeheartedly.

It may be a moment where he just has to catch me in that

last second, but do I trust him fully? I love those moments where God teaches us the depth of love

that he has for us through our children.
