This week at our house church and our garage, we talked about conception in Ecclesiastes

chapter six. What is conception? Conception is when two people get together, they fall in love.

There's some ingredients that get mixed, and then a baby comes. At the moment of conception, life starts. Amen?

When are you going to start living? When are you going to have that conception? I mean really living.

I mean really living where you go from not just planning your life, not just dreaming about what

you want to do with your life, but actually

starting to live. Don't plan your life. You have the power through Christ to start living it

now, to start walking in faith, walking in obedience. When are you going to start doing that?

really helped me as I studied it all week. Ecclesiastes chapter 6 teaches us how to start living now,

really living. So let's dive into it and read it together. Yes, but there is a very serious evil,

which I've seen everywhere.

God has given to some men very great wealth and honor so that they can have everything they want,

but he doesn't give them the health to enjoy it, and they die, and others get it all.

This is absurd, a hollow mockery and a serious fault.

Even if a man has a hundred sons and has many daughters and lives to be very old,

but leaves no, so little money at his death that his children can't even give him a decent

burial. I say that he would be better off born dead, for though his birth would then be futile and end in darkness without even a name,

never seeing the sun or even knowing its existence, yet that is better than to be an old,

unhappy man. Though a man lives a thousand years twice over, but doesn't find contentment. Well, then, what's the use?
