Happy birthday! It's not even my birthday, thank you. Happy fifth birthday to COVID-19.

Oh, man.

Does that not seem so far in the rear view now?

To me, it doesn't seem like it was five years ago.

I would say maybe three years ago.

But on this day, five years ago, was when the World Health Organization declared a global pandemic.

And people freaked out.

Everybody kind of probably remembers where they were when, like, it officially started for them.

And I remember my father-in-law was ill.

We were trying to figure out what to do and how to take care of him.

And my sister had driven by in Florida and was like, you have to leave Florida

or else you won't get him out. And I'm like, come on. Like, you're being like doomsday

prophetess here. And it turns out she was right. I was like, we were glad we left and brought

him. But it was, I mean, it was crazy. The world shut down. Yeah, I'm trying to think about

where I was at in life and I was living with a

roommate of mine and she, boy, she was dating somebody. I, of course, was not. Go figure.

But we started working from home. Yeah. And that was weird because I would wake her up in the mornings because I'd be doing the show.

Right.
