So let's get started. I have a few thoughts first.

A lot going on, Claude. We got this craziness with the president and the gas tax, federal gas tax.

This is, as Barack Obama called it, a gimmick. I was going to take a maximum of about 18 cents a gallon, which ain't the heart of the problem.

It also means it could add to inflation because there may be a greater demand for gas would

that decrease.

Right.

That could drive the price right back up and that 18 cents would disappear.

Also, that gas tax is used for infrastructure. So it'll

increase the deficit. Nobody's even looking at the deficit these days. But somebody better,

somebody better, and do it sometime soon. Any comments on that, Claude? You know, it's interesting.

Yeah, because I was speaking with a friend of mine, super liberal. And they are admittedly so.

And actually a few days ago, we have a conversation and said, you know, I understand

that things are bad, but I don't think it's President Biden's fault.

And then they said, you know, well, explain to me what he's doing to make it bad.

And so what I said was, well, you're the one defending the president. Why don't you let me know what he's doing to help things? Because you said it's bad. So let's just start there. What is he doing to help the economy grow? What is he doing to help the American people? What is he doing from a foreign policy standpoint that makes things better? they couldn't answer.
