0:13.5	On the email we talked about yesterday, I have a bit of a rhetorical flair, and I feel honor-bound, honestly, to make clear.
0:25.7	The gentleman who wrote to me last week, and I mean it when I say gentleman,
0:31.9	the gentleman who wrote to me last week did not use the F-word.
0:36.6	He did tell me I shouldn't talk about politics on the show and did so in a way that
0:40.4	really rub me the wrong way, but he did not use the F word.
0:47.8	He did offend me.
0:49.9	And my podcast response offended him.
0:54.1	And I don't think either of us meant to do that. And my podcast response offended him.
0:56.8	And I don't think either of us meant to do that.
1:04.3	He was offended by my response yesterday, and he told me why, and I apologize for offending him.
1:06.5	He offended me by being condescending and dismissive, and I illustrated where and how in one
1:12.4	part of the email that I shared with you guys yesterday and another part that I didn't, and
1:16.5	he apologized, and I very much accept as apology.
1:23.6	After learning a bit more about him, I get why he would like for this show to be a politics-free
1:28.3	zone. As I indicated to you and yesterday's show and to him and the email exchange we've had in
1:34.6	the past 24 hours or so, I would also like for this show to be free of politics or political
1:40.8	news or news that touches on politics.
1:45.6	But I don't feel like that's where we are right now.
