0:00.0	Hi, I'm Coach Corey Wayne and today we're going to talk about something interesting that has happened with Twitter, which is basically the public square.
0:11.0	So and supposed bastion of free speech and information sharing.
0:18.0	So in the past week, Elon Musk, he took a 9.2% stake in Twitter. And because I think he did a
0:28.1	poll a couple weeks ago. I think he said something along the lines like, should I buy Twitter?
0:35.0	And people overwhelmingly said yes.
0:39.8	And so he's now taken a seat, also a seat on the board.
0:45.7	So Esty, what are the facts?
0:47.7	So Giles Turner and Craig Trudell of Bloomberg News are reporting.
0:53.8	Elon Musk takes 9.2% stake in Twitter after hinting at ShakeUp.
1:00.6	Elon Musk bought 9.2% of Twitter to become platform's biggest shareholder.
1:07.7	His stake is worth about $3 billion.
1:13.6	So it's interesting. I've seen him do this before.
1:18.5	He'll ask about things that he kind of knows the answer to. But like several weeks before,
1:24.6	he had actually done the transactions. And so I believe what I saw on some of the other news reports was that he started buying shares of Twitter like a month ago.
1:30.2	And so by the time he had finally bought it all, that's when he asked the question, hey,
1:34.7	should I buy Twitter?
1:38.3	And he's done that with several things in the past asking if he, you know, what their opinion is.
1:45.3	Oh, I remember the one about selling a certain percentage of his shares three or four months ago and tested
1:49.4	do you think i should sell 10% of my shares or something like that and everybody said yes and then
1:55.5	he had already sold it or filed to sell it which i thought was kind of funny And so then there was also a post I saw on Facebook that he said,
2:04.8	can I buy Facebook?
2:05.8	I don't know if it was legit or not.
