The Titans of Industry always get access to this ever-changing pantheon of heroes to look up to

as if they are the only ones who could have done what they did, and they did it all by

themselves. A few years ago, that innovative heroic genius we were told to admire was Elon Musk,

then of PayPal, Space X, and Tesla fame, before he bought X and revealed his true fascist stripes.

But the individual, as happens so often, is a distraction from something bigger,

something more systemic, something that is more representative and indicative of our age,
