I'm joined by Emron Amit, the CEO of the Center for Cantering Digital Hague, or CCDH.

CCDH is an organization whose mission is to protect human rights and civil liberties online,

particularly by holding social media companies accountable. Speaking of accountability,

the center is currently being sued by Elon Musk and X, formerly known as Twitter,

and an attempt to silence their work exposing the rise of hate on the platform.

Emron is an authority on social and psychological malignancies on social media,

such as identity-based hate, extremism, disinformation, and conspiracy theories.

He was inspired to start the center after seeing the rise of anti-Semitism in the UK,

and the murder of his colleague, Joe Cox, a member of parliament,

by white supremacists who had been radicalized in part online during the EU, or Brexit referendum

in 2016. He holds an MA in social and political sciences from the University of Cambridge,
