where we highlight a singer-songwriter's work, we hear the stories behind the songs,

and we get a deeper look at their faith journey, the things God's teaching them.

Well, Ellie Holcomb joins me today to share some music and the stories behind the songs on both her new album, Canyon, which releases in just a few weeks and on a collaborative book album project called Faithful.

So we're going to draw songs from both of those albums.

singer-songwriter Ellie Holcomb recorded and toured full-time with her husband's band, Drew Holcomb and

the neighbors, before stepping off the road with her first child when their little one was born.

She will release her third studio album, Canyon in June, which we're talking about today.
