The Good Thursday morning to you. My friends, welcome to opening statements. I'm Julie Grant. Are you ready for some coffee and some court? Well, we are

ready for you. We got a great show plan. Grab the cup of coffee right now. It's time for my

opening statement. They should have been able to live. Danielle Hoyle and her newborn baby

Kennedy should have been able to live.

But instead, Daniel's mother is now forced to live without her daughter and without her grandbaby.

Danielle's 10-year-old daughter has to grow up without her mother and her baby sister.

It is so unfair. April Campbell told the jury that she got only one hour, just one

hour to love on little baby Kennedy before she was thrown into the river by her own father.

That precious, helpless, beautiful baby angel was thrown out like yesterday's trash.

And her own father is the one who murdered her.

Just think about that by throwing her into a river to drown.

How I wish we could throw him into the river to drown.

This case makes my blood boil, Makes me wish we had cruel and unusual

punishment in America because killers like Brandon Isabel deserve it. He deserved the death

penalty in my opinion. I have no idea why the prosecutors didn't pursue it. But I have no doubt

that he's going to be pursued in prison.

That guy is going to have a target on his back for being a baby killer.
