Hi, thanks for having me. Oh, it's a pleasure. We really look forward to speaking with you. And as always before we get into the show itself, tell us a little bit about how you are, where you are today. What's been your journey?

Well, it was a bit of a weird one, so I never wanted to be a journalist. In fact I finished my university

degree and my master's and thought I never ever ever want to pick up a pen again ever.

I was sick of it. But the politics is what got me in so I was

sort of flirted with student politics and then I found spiked and they were just

saying something that no one else was saying and I went to a few meetings held a

meeting myself and then got into it that way so it was the politics that really drove me

to journalism rather than the writing as anyone who's ever subbed one of my articles

will know despite an English degree my grandma's still pretty poor.
