I have a very special guest that came to my attention after talking with the occult rejects.

He goes by the walrus or also Jacob Accus, but he's done a conversation about a figure that I'm interested in.

John D., he was the 16th century, really a Magus, kind of a giant in that field. And I was

curious about an Hokian magic myself and that subject. So I'm delighted to have him. He's read a

lot of books about the subject. So hopefully he can kind of guide us through the life of John D. So

Jacob, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. Awesome. Well, thanks for agreeing to the interview for people who may not be familiar with you.

Can you talk a little bit about your background and how you became interested in this

particular subject?

Well, I first learned about them, about 25 years ago when I was 18.

When I first heard about Anokian magic.

And that's why most people know of him these days, which is kind of a shame, because John D. is possibly one of the most interesting figures in history, but particularly like in the

Anglo sphere, American English history.

So, uh, and well, what makes him that interesting fascinating? I mean, he, he was,

had the largest library in Europe at one point, right?

Yes.

And that was around the time in England.

It was before Queen Elizabeth took the throne.

And what was it?

Late 1500s, I guess.
