Today, we continue Elizabeth's story of survival, resilience, and hope. Take a listen. A lot of times when

people go through trauma, sometimes they doubt God. They doubt their faith. You were raised in a

religious home. You've talked about that. And they also had this twisted, religious kind of motivation

that they drilled into you over the time that that you were held.

How did it impact your own relationship with God?

I was always raised to believe that God was kind and he was loving and he was aware of us.

And so my whole life, that is the God that I had believed in.

So when I was then kidnapped and I was abused and terrible things were done to me in the name

of God commanded me to do this, it just never aligned with the God that I knew.

And so for me, it always seemed very clear that what they were saying was lies.

I saw that the woman who was part of this, Barz, was arrested not that long ago again.

Yeah.

I guess a lot of people would say, A, why is she free in the first place? And apparently she was in

some park and she was, you know, telling people that God was commanding her things again. What do you

think about that? I mean, I have the same questions as everyone else. How did she get out in the first

place and why are we allowing her to walk free now? Incredible. So one of the things that I think caught people's eye recently

is these incredible, you entered a bodybuilding competition and you won, and it's just a, you know,

real embracing, I guess, of your strength and your physical body and you look incredible. So
