And our guest today is the founder of the Gaia Project for Women's Leadership and the Organizer of Lights for Liberty, a worldwide vigil on July 12th to end human detention camps in the United States.

Elizabeth McLaughlin, welcome to Amped Up.

Thank you so much. It's a thrill to be here. And I have to say, it's not just me. We've got an

organizing team of about 15 amazing people, including frontline immigration activists and undocumented

folks, as well as the kind of bigger picture national organizing team. So I'm proud to be one of many

and not the only one. Absolutely. I saw that Invisible is on board this morning and Women's March yesterday.

Yeah, this has been an incredible whirlwind, and we're just so grateful for all of the support.

You know, I think that in the seven days now, it's seven days as of today that we launched the website.

We've just been heartened, I think, by how many folks out there have shared our outrage

and are willing to really take a strong stand against this administration and these atrocities

that are being perpetrated against migrant families.

So it's been an extraordinary run so far, and I just really hope that July 12th is the beginning

of, you know, some really serious change in this country about this issue and many others.

Absolutely.

You know, I wrote down some new stories, because since our last episode with Rosie, you know,

there's been even more atrocities committed against children. You know,

we're finding that new information every day. So I just want to read a couple things here and get

your reaction, Elizabeth. NBC News had a report yesterday. A hundred migrant children were moved out

of the Clint, Texas border facility, a facility described as appalling, and they have been moved back
