The second one is on a sad note. I'd like to send out my condolences to Bob Packet from the history according to Bob.

Some of you may know I consider Bob to be kind of my podcast father, you know, he's part of the

inspiration of why I do this podcast is because of what he did, along with Mike

Duncan from the history of Rome.

Bob lost his wife Ruth to pneumonia this past weekend and she had done a lot to help promote and to put out the history

of according to Bob and so I'd like to really send my condolences to the Packet

family to Bob and please give prayers to to the

Last week, Elizabeth the first,

daughter of Peter the Great, took control of the Russian Empire.

Her lavish spending was over the top, setting the stage for the Romanov Star's behavior

for centuries to come.

Ivan the 6th, her cousin, was imprisoned at the fortress of Schlisselburg as a non-person to prevent

anyone from using him as a figurehead to oust the Empress.

Now during Elizabeth's reign two wars were being fought by the European powers all over the world.
