Well, I guess it's not too late. It feels really late because what is the concept of time in the month of March, especially when it is March 28th.

And Tennessee is once again for the third straight season 40 minutes away from its first

ever appearance in the Final Four, but it will have a tall task in front of it when it plays

number one Michigan on Sunday at 2.15 p.m. Eastern Tennessee advancing to the Elite 8 for

the third consecutive year because it dominated Iowa State in the Sweet 16 on Friday night 76 to 62.

Iowa State was without its star, All-American Joshua Jefferson, but what could go right pretty much did go right for the Vols and even when things didn't go their way.

Turnovers, Iowa State was not able to

capitalize, really struggled at the free throw line. Tennessee's defense had Iowa State's key

players in handcuffs throughout that contest. Just a really great, gritty performance. And who better to

have on to recap that performance and preview Tennessee's trip to the Elite 8 other than Isaac Trotter of CBS Sports and 247 sports.

Of course, Isaac was on our last podcast with us.

Did a great job of preview in the Sweet 16 matchup between Tennessee and Iowa State.

And the game basically played out the way Isaac said it was going to play out.

I feel like last night, you know, I said like, hey, man, I think Tennessee can really give, I would say,

to some trouble on the offensive glass, but I can't take credit for 16 offensive rebounds.

Like that was a whole different level.

I offensive rebounded 53% of their misses and just kind of imposed their will.
