Yeah, I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving and to celebrate the holiday weekend, I guess you could say.

Tennessee has made a huge addition to its 2023 recruiting class, four-star defensive linemen,

Dave and Hobbs of Concord, North Carolina,

just outside Charlotte, has committed to Tennessee

picking the balls over Georgia and Alabama,

among others. It really came down to those three SEC schools in the end

there have been a kind of a few different phases to his recruitment there was

last year and early this year he was sort of a lower key prospect hadn't really blown up yet.

Tennessee had him on campus for a handful of visits before he was offered by Tennessee finally in June after attending one of the

balls camps he also got an offer from Alabama in June after going to a camp there

got an offer from Georgia I believe in July so he started to blow up later in the spring and into the summer.

And on August 1st was originally planning to announce his college decision then,

and at that time everyone thought he was headed to North Carolina and that that

seemed to be the case he kind of grew up liking North Carolina and basketball and

there were reasons to the Tar heels had been the team to beat up to that point.

But the longer this thing went, the more of those SEC schools got in his ear,

I think he was really intrigued by the chance to play in the SEC.
