We are in Gillette Stadium, where we just finished talking to Patriots de facto general manager and current

director of scouting, Elliot Wolfe. Phil Perry alongside, we're going to parse through this

pretty well, but the first two things that jumped out to me were non-draft related. First,

that Elliot Wolf thinks that Lamar Jackson's already a Hall of Famer.

He's not, okay?

And that opinion right there makes everything else Elliot Wolf said suspect.

Oh, come on.

Additionally, Elliot Wolf, in response to a Nicole Yang question,

we'll get further into this,

saying that he doesn't understand the narrative of why the Patriots are not able to support a quarterback at this juncture is, to me,

blissfully ignorant, disingenuous?

Because if he really believes that the worst offense in football this year has improved,

last year, has improved enough in the past few months to say,

hey, punk that guy down, we're going to get after it right away.

Then he's barking up the wrong tree.
