This is Indiana wide receiver Elijah Surrett. You've probably heard of Omar Cooper, the other Indiana receiver, but Surat over the last two years average 71 yards per game.

Omar Cooper only 51 yards per game, and Surat was more effective in the red zone on top of that back shoulder phase.

I'm not going to say he has a lot of separation to his game, but he's got a big size profile. I think he's a pretty smart receiver. And Indiana really made him the focal point of their offense. They absolutely did, especially in crunch time situations. He's six foot two and a half, 210 pounds, did run a four, five, three reported 40 at his pro day, and a 164 10 yard split. By the way, that's in the fifth percentile. He transferred up twice during his college career, started St. Francis, then JMU, then joined that crew at Indiana. Here's a nugget for you. He has the nickname Waffle House given to him by his father because apparently he's open 24-7. Do you think that fits? I don't think that's true. I was hoping that it was not going to be because he likes to fight, you know, the waitress at 2 in the morning. But I don't think that's what we have with Surrett. He seems like a very smart player. And I thought his timing plus his hands, you said the bottom fifth percentile in terms of burst, but he does have 87th percentile of hands. And that's where you run into everything is a contested catch with this guy. He does come down with a lot of them. He's not jumping over guys. He just has good timing, kind of like box you out at the catch point. I think we're going to have to have a conversation about potential move to a big slot type of profile here. I think that would fit his game quite a bit.

I would not say he's Mr. 24-7 always open. I did not get that on the tape. Well, the two descriptors I

would use, and this is a fine line, and we'll get into that. He has great feel for the game,

and he's like a smooth mover. All right. He anticipate angles. He's in control of his body and his

shoulders. Like to me, you see great zone awareness on top of it. There's his play versus Iowa on third and two.

He's at the point of a three person stack. As the dPs are kind of like passing off their past

catchers and finding their soft spots to cover.
