This new film is Hostel Part 2.

Eli, welcome.

Thanks, Elvis.

This is more personal and less kind of social than the first one.

The first one is real social commentary.

And this one certainly is that, but a bit less.

It was more about the kind of personalities they get pulled into this on both sides of it.

You know, and it's not just one side of the coin this time.

Yeah.

Well, the first one is definitely more overtly social commentary, where you can see, you know,

these images coming from Iraq and all these different things that fit into it.

But the thing that really kind of got me was Hurricane Katrina while I was actually recording

the score to part one.

And I started thinking about, you know, I turned on the television.

I was in Prague and so we were watching CNN International.

It was like Dawn of the Dead with bodies floating down the street.

And I just started thinking about the way people instantly turn to violence.

And when no one's looking in areas of chaos and anarchy, how it brings out the worst,

most sickening side of human beings. And then I started looking at other things, like the
