So let's just talk about one news item, really. And that is the 49ers running back situation with Eli Mitchell with a broken finger. They're still hopeful that he can practice on Wednesday and play on Sunday. But we had a pretty interesting discussion with Heath on our

bonus FFT pod. He does not think that Jeff Wilson is a must start necessarily, just an automatic

start if Mitchell were out against Jacksonville. And Jamie and I definitely did. Where would you stand

on that? Where would you rank Wilson if Mitchell were out? He'd be a top 24 running back. And I know that the Jacksonville and Jamie and I definitely did where would you stand on that where would you rank Wilson if Mitchell were out he'd be a top 24 running back and I know that the

Jacksonville matchup has been a little bit iffy for opposing running backs we've seen some running

back struggle against them but we've also seen some running backs do really well against them

and if the 49ers don't have Jim Michael Hasty ready to go

and they don't have Eliza Mitchell, then I would imagine that Jeff Wilson would get a large

chunk of work, certainly nearly every carry for the 49ers. Maybe a little bit of Tray Sermann would

get in there. But I think you'd see a lot of Jeff Wilson and probably a little bit more of Kyle

Eusechak as well. Maybe he'd work in on some passing downs. But yeah, I think there's just too much work to leave on the table with Wilson. Yeah, I'm just some surprise to hear. You'd say top 24, not something like top 15, you know, ahead of, ahead of Michael Carter, ahead of, I guess there's some pretty good running back to me, but he'd be in that range.

Carter would be in that range.

He'd be ahead of,

you know, like the Seattle running backs, whether Carson plays or not. Like, I just, I don't know if I'm ready to say he'd be where I had Ramandre Stevenson ranked or where I have Elijah Mitchell ranked. Yeah. I think he'd be lower than that.
