Joined as always my goal is Nick Vallado. Today we're here to talk about a few things on the BBB podcast as I have work being done on the house.

So headphones are in so I can hear Nick, but there be a lot of muting on my end so we don't pick up on all that sound.

But a few things to talk about. One, we're going to talk about Eli Manning, not making the Hall of Fame, first ballot. We're going to talk about Malik Neighbors and a lot of comments from Malik Neighbors as he waxed poetic about draft prospect Cam Ward, the quarterback out of Miami. We'll go over his comments about Ward. And then some thoughts that I have early on Ward. I just went through four games on film this week. And I did a cut up. Yeah, I had a big week with Cam Ward. And I did a cut up of the Virginia Tech game, Nick, that for those who hadn't seen it, you can check out my Twitter account. And it's a four-minute cut-up of my favorite plays from Cam Ward in that Virginia

Tech game. So we'll get through more games. There's more to do. Such a different player

from 2022 than I remember when he played Wisconsin. Watch that game with my dad, Nick, Washington

State for Wisconsin. Cam Ward played in 2022. And we saw some, I remember my dad loved the kid.

He's like, wow, who is this quarterback?

And we both are kind of like, who is this quarterback kind of guy? But then when I rewatched the tape,

I was like, this was actually pretty bad tape against Wisconsin. Like it was all just kind of

screens. Jim Lender was just firing dudes downhill on the line of scrimmage. And then to see the

difference in how he's playing at Miami this year,

just a totally different player from a confidence standpoint and how he works through his

reeds and him coming off the play side, just a different player entirely. So it's cool to

see a player's progression. So we'll talk about those things today. Nick, let's start with

Eli Manning here, was snubbed, at least probably in our minds, from making the Hall of Fame, the first ballot hall of fame. He was not one of the first ballot hall of famers. Apparently he was not even one of the finalists, Nick, for being a first bout hallfamer last night. I have a lot of thoughts on this. I want to get your thought first. Okay, my thoughts on the Eli Manning, uh, snubbing, if you will. I don't necessarily

think it's a snub. I would have liked to see him be a finalist. He's going to get in eventually.

I'm not overly shocked or surprised that he didn't get in on a first ballot basis. There's some logjam

of Hall of Famers at this point. And the ones who were selected were Eric Allen,

Jared Allen, Antonio Gates, and Sterling Sharp were the four names selected 2025. Eli Manning didn't

make it. I'm not going to freak out about that personally. I don't know how a lot of giant

fans feel about it. He's going to get in eventually. It's going to happen. I think he warrants first ballot consideration, but the fact that he didn't get it, I don't think it's the biggest snubbing in the world. That's my take. What's yours? So I was thinking about it. And I know why he didn't get in and why he didn't get into me, at least, is that the people who vote on the hall fame like it's a bunch of sports
