So every year they do a balloon send off to Brittany the family does,

and I keep one of the ribbons from one of the first balloon drops in my wallet

to tie on the handcuffs that will eventually put on the person that did this.

Because I want Brittany to be there. She deserves to be alive today. She should be here.

This was a completely innocent woman that was traveling on a roadway here in Brown County,

and somebody ended her life in that of her child that she was pregnant with,

and then jerked her other child. One of the most horrendous crimes I've ever heard of in my entire life.

And that's why I do these podcast, these interviews. I want people to be passionate about this.

You know, somebody out there knows exactly what happened. I want this to reach them.

I want them to feel bad. I want them to be hurt. I want it to weigh on them.

I don't want them to ever be able to forget that this happened.
