your host Renee Sills. Embodied astrology is the podcast where I think about the embodied experience, our experiences

living in our bodies and being here on earth in a physical form and our relationship to larger cycles as described

through the symbolic language of astrology.

Astrology is a very old language.

It is an observational practice and notation of the fluctuations of light, our sunlight and moonlight, and the rhythms of the planets of these

wandering lights that travel through our skies

and the ways that our bodies

are influenced by these lights.

Astrology exists all over the world in many different forms.

For as long as human beings have existed, I'm absolutely certain that they've been

looking up in the sky and wondering what is that

up there and what does it mean and how am I relationship with it and what is it trying to tell me? In embodied astrology I bring my

profession and background as a somatic movement educator and a embodied intuitive into my practice of astrology.

So I've been teaching yoga and other movement forms for 15 years now and experience myself as an embodied

intuitive or somatic intuitive and what that means is that I get physical sensations in my body that I know are not mine and that give me information about an experience that maybe someone else is having somewhere else or a kind of

collective experience that we may all be sharing. And through reading astrology I get a lot of information in my body and by thinking about our bodies and how our bodies are part of a larger body that we share, our planet's body. I get a lot of

information about astrology and how to interpret it. So as you listen to this

podcast, please remember that you are listening to a creative interpretation and an intuitive interpretation of symbolism.

past your head and maybe I'll say some things that are really aggravating or

that you find a kind of confrontation with.
