This is Tim Bard from wallbuilders with another moment from American history.

Many today wrongly claim are founding fathers were largely atheists, agnostics and deists. Certainly some founders were less religious than others, but even they were not irreligious, considered Benjamin Franklin.

Definitely one of the least religious among them yet. When the delegates at the Constitutional Convention hit an impasse in their deliberations, it was Franklin who called them to prayer and invoking numerous scriptures to make his point.

As he reminded them, God governs in the affairs of men and if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without his notice, is it probable that an empire can rise about his aid?

We have been assured in the sacred writings that except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it. I firmly believe this.

So even the least religious of America's founders urged public prayer independence on God.

Well, a crazy race down to the wire had to wait days and days and days and ultimately close enough to have a recap, but your opponent conceded so it's over and done with and you're your headed back and I just got to ask you now that you're going in, you're no longer a freshman, you know, and you're going to be leading the next freshman class, hopefully being an example for them of how to stand up to the swamp.

How excited are you that we've got new members that are like minded and want to be conservative firebrands like yourself?

Yes, we have a lot of great new members. We have Anna Paulina Luna from Florida. We have Eli Crane from Arizona. We have a lot of great folks that have come in in this freshman class.

And I have the honor of of having them for a house freedom caucus pre orientation that goes before the regular orientation that freshman received when they are member elect.
