this week we have an incredible guest. His name is Rich Barris, aka the People's

Pundant. He is a pollster that I look to a lot both during my 2020 congressional race and

2022 Senate race and thereafter.

Rich is unique because, I mean, I think, because not only does he have a solid methodology and when you're

polling its methodology is really important to have the proper sample size

the right questions you, look at the right

cross tabs, things like that. Rich has all of those things on lockdown, but what I

also like about Rich is that he understands the cultural moment that we're in right now.

And so many pollsters exist inside the beltway in Washington and they're really, quite frankly, out of touch with what is going on in congressional districts and in states really all across the country.

Well, Rich comes from a middle class blue collar family, knows what it's like to live paycheck to paycheck and really goes out of his way to

understand the issues that matter to people and the cultural really historical

cultural moment that we're in right now. That's why I like them. And so this episode, we talk about everything political. We do a post-mortem on 2022. Why the red wave did not happen and we look forward to

2024 we have a look at both the Republican ticket with Ron DeSantis now in the race what is that

presidential what does that presidential race look like in 2024 can Trump

win I think he can look forward to to you hearing what Rich says about all that, but we also look at the
