Let's just review the basics. Terima Kalliff was defeated by Glenn Youngkin in Virginia.

Seems like the actual margin is going to be pretty close, probably under two point margin, which is

for what it's worth pretty close to exactly where the final polls had it, one or two point race.

So, substantial swing from the Northam victory in 2017 and also substantial swing from

Joe Biden's victory in 2020 in the state, which were of comparable margins around 10 points,

something like that. So, you have like a 12 point swing and then we still don't have a result

in New Jersey, but it seems like a governor Murphy will probably pull it out by a very, very thin

margin. Now, that race was, I think, in the final polls, a 10 point margin for the Democrats.

So, it seems like win is a win, but we can see a similar tide, a similar story for the evening.

And then you have down ballot races, which show basically a similar picture, although not in

every case, Republicans did really well in Long Island, in New York state. The Democratic Socialist
