Hey, Sider Cressiders, welcome back to Road to Midterms. If you're listening to this on the podcast, Politics by Faith, I sound different. I sound different because this is the last segment of the TV show that we do, Road to Midterms. If you're watching this on the TV, Road to Midterms, and you're wondering, why are you talking about this podcast? I'm very confused Slater. The podcast is called Politics by Faith. I'll just give you the very short of it. A lot of anxiety in our country. I feel that my wife feels that all my friends feel, everyone I know feels a lot of anxiety. So I wanted to address that. Because one way you could do is you could just avoid politics

0:42.1

completely. But that's not wise. I don't think that's a good idea necessarily because this matters.

0:45.6

This is important. So what we do is we take a story that causes anxiety. We provide historical

0:51.1

perspective to it and then some biblical peace at the end so that you can go to sleep at night. That's the point of the podcast. And it's been a great success so far. We've been doing it for about a month or so. So if you're watching on the TV, please go download it and subscribe and enjoy. So these are just shorter versions of that. We go into much greater detail on the podcast. But let's do a little bit of

1:11.9

one right here. The DA, the district attorney of Philadelphia, his name is Larry Krasner. He's one of

1:18.8

these George Soros-funded DAs. Now, what do I mean by that? Because that's like quite an accusation.

1:24.2

Oh, he's like a very conspiratorial. George Soros, far left guy, political activist,

1:31.3

very rich, billions of dollars. He wanted criminal justice reform. So he would spend millions

1:36.9

of dollars to elect congressmen to try to get them to enact laws in DC, change the criminal

1:43.5

justice system, took a ton of money, and then you

1:45.9

get someone elected, and they go to D.C., and they're one of 435 congressmen, and nothing ever gets

1:51.3

done, and you got to do it every two years. So it was a huge investment, and he didn't see a lot of

1:55.3

return. So George Soros noted that there are these district attorney races that people vote on as

1:59.8

well. District attorneys are people who are elected on behalf of law-abiding people to prosecute

2:04.7

criminals, right? So I can't prosecute criminals, so I'm going to hire a DA. They're going to

2:10.5

prosecute the bad guys on behalf of me. And he noticed that no one spends any money on these

2:17.1

races in big cities.

2:19.8

And local DAs have a ton of discretion to which laws they prosecute and which they don't.

2:26.1

Because they have a limited budget, limited amount of time, limited amount of people to prosecute,

2:31.5

so they have to make decisions.

2:32.7

Are we going to prosecute a little more of this, and then we need a little list of this, so they have to make decisions. Are we gonna prosecute a little more of this,

2:34.8

and then we need a little list of this,

...
