0:44.4	And progressives and conservatives have a completely different worldview when it comes to this issue.
0:51.2	So the Christian and conservative belief is that people are born not good.
1:01.5	People are born with a sinful nature and the human heart is depraved. Therefore, when people do bad things, and they will, they need to be punished. They did it, right? Progressives have a
1:09.3	totally different worldview. They believe people are born good and therefore if
1:15.7	someone does a bad thing if they break the law commit a crime it's not their fault because they're
1:21.6	good people no one would ever do a bad thing if it was up to them. So it was something in the system that caused them to.
1:30.3	The system's broken.
1:33.3	It's poverty.
1:35.3	That's the issue, right?
1:37.3	Or it's the prison industrial complex.
1:40.3	That's the price.
1:41.3	It's the system that's broken.
1:43.3	So we can't punish them for their crime.
1:46.1	They're not the reason that this happened. See the difference? Completely different worldview.
1:52.6	And I would, well, the most popular, most prevalent worldview is the one I, that one, that people are born good.
