I'm Michael Barronowski, professor of political science at Northern Kentucky

University. Today, in part four of our Election 2020 series, we'll be discussing President

Trump and Joe Biden on foreign policy. But before we get started with that, I want to let

everyone know that next week's episode will be released the afternoon of Thursday, October 1st, as opposed to our usual Wednesday morning release time.

And the reason for this is that on next week's episode, we'll be discussing the first

presidential debate, which will be held the evening of Tuesday, September 29th.

And we can't release that discussion on Wednesday because the class that makes

this series possible meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays. So our first opportunity to talk about the debate

will be on Thursday morning, after which I'll put together and release the episode as quickly as I

possibly can. Now, on the foreign policy, this covers a lot of ground, and we're going to try to

get to as much of it as we can today, but it's possible that there are some fairly important

foreign policy issues we just won't have the time to get to. Now, there's one issue, in fact,

that I know we won't be talking about today, and that's

immigration. And that's not because it's not extremely important, but because it's so important

that we're going to devote an entire episode to it later on in this series.
