Tonight's episode, Elder Oaks calls for more excommunications. This is Radio Free Mormon,

episode 363. Thank you for joining me. You know, excommunications of somewhat prominent members

in the LDS Church tends to go in cycles. And it was around 10 years ago that the last spate

of public executions, excuse me, I mean

excommunications, occurred.

John DeLynn was excommunicated in 2015.

Kate Kelly was 2014, Sam Young, 2018.

Now it's 2024, and I guess it's time to give it a go again.

Because what we appear to see going on right now

is another spate of these excommunications. Nemo, the Mormon, has been served over in jolly old

England by his church leaders. Nemo has been summoned to appear before a disciplinary hearing,

or as they call it now, a membership withdrawal hearing.

They keep changing the names of these things, but it still amounts to nothing more than the

same old excommunication. And his hearing date currently is set for a Monday, September 23rd,

I believe it is, at 10 o'clock in the morning. So it appears that's an odd time to have a church hearing and maybe

so that other people can't show up because, I don't know, they have to work or something. At any

rate, I don't know that it's going to be then. That's when it was initially scheduled. Nemo has

contacted a state president. He is requesting a different time and moving it back some so

actually he can attend it and so that his wife can attend it in support of Nemo. She cannot make it
