In August of 1948, Ramón Antonio and Iris Nereida had a child, but in the end of 1949, Iris Nereida decided to divorce him for his career and serious injuries.

During his marriage, Iris Nereida suffered a maltrato because of his wife and his mother-in-law, Luzan Pedro, who physically believed him.

Iris Nereida sought out the tribunal that Ramón Furnier had to pay for his daughter's mental pension.

The tribunal made a pension of $150 monthly for the child, which is equivalent to 1,600 monthly or today.

Ramón Furnier withdrew the order of the tribunal and set out to the United States to avoid having to pay for the pension.

When Ramón returned to Puerto Rico a while later, Iris Nereida managed to replace the tribunal again and Ramón went to the tribunal to pay for his pension.

The 5th owner of the 1950s, the tribunal gave birth to Iris Nereida again and said a sentence considering the pension of $150 monthly for the child, plus the payment for the cost of a lawyer.
