We commence by praising Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala

having given us a beautiful day of this nature

We thank Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala for having granted us the ability to fast during the month of Ramadan

for having allowed us to see the blessed month of Ramadan

We ask Allah to make us from amongst those who have earned forgiveness during this blessed month and from amongst those who have turned their lives for the better

We send blessings and salutations upon Muhammad salallahu alayhi wa sallam

We ask Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala to grant blessings to the entire family of Muhammad salallahu alayhi wa sallam

all his companions and we ask Allah to bless every single one of us

Brothers and sisters Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala grants us occasions of happiness when we deserve it

It is important, it is very important that we realize this occasion of happiness and understand why is it that we have been given such a day

If you look at both of the reads they happen to come after great acts of worship

Take a look at this particular eat we have just fasted for the entire month of Ramadan

Every single day we abstain from food and drink so Allah says today it is prohibited for you to fast

I want to give you a day when you are not allowed to fast, not at all

A person would be totally sinful if they had to fast on this day

And after having engaged in so much of voluntary salat, voluntary salat where every evening we came

Every evening we engaged in prayer and we asked Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala for goodness

And at the same time we listened to the beautiful words of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala

We made an effort to read his word and we made an effort to understand his word

And we tried our best to listen to the words of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala

So Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala blesses us with a day where we can enjoy ourselves
