former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, who was a leader of the Labor Party from 1997 until 2001 and again from 2007 until 2011.

Now he is a former general as well.

He previously held a post of defense minister and deputy prime minister under Ehud

Ulmert and then in Benjamin Netanyahu's second government from 07 to 2013.

Ehud Barak is a liberal.

Does that mean he should not be heard?

He's a highly decorated general, former prime minister.

He opposes Netanyahu, and he believes that the end game in the Gaza war should be a Palestinian

state. He is one of Israel's most important elder statesmen. He opposes Netanyahu, and he has a position that must be listened

to.

We know that Hamas killed 1400 innocent people, butchered them, slaughtered them, and they hold hundreds as hostages.

But it's a cycle of violence that threatens to paralyze the entire world.
