donor options for conception, specifically egg and embryo donation. I'm a

board certified OBGYN and Fertility Doctor and every single day I talk

to patients about what they need to know to try to get pregnant. And sometimes this

journey reaches a place that maybe isn't our plan A and we have to start looking at other options.

Similarly, some patients come knowing that they're going to use donor eggs or need donor eggs or very interested in donor

embryos and these are all really different ways to have a family. They're all

very beautiful and every clinic will do them a little bit differently.

So this is a circumstance where it is really important for you to understand what you're looking

for, what's important to you, and what clinics offer this in different ways.

A reminder, there's no judgment when it comes to topics like this.

Growing your family is a personal decision. I always ask my patients to step back and

be open-minded. That doesn't mean you have to do all of these things, but you owe it to yourself to learn about them and to understand

what each option may be so that you are in a position of power and ultimately you're the one making your

decision for the future not having time or other people's opinions make that

decision for you. With that being said, I practice it for fertility in Austin, Texas.
