Hi guys, thanks for tuning in to this week's Not the Top 20 podcast Monday edition.

We mentioned this last week when we did our championship draft team,

that this week we wanted to go a little more serious.

We are aware at the moment that there's a lot of concern about the future of the EFL and its clubs.

And we want to make sure that we are responsible for bringing you as much as we

can on that but we also know that there is appetite to take our minds off that as well and hence

we've done a few extra bits and bobs over the last few weeks george ellic on the line with me george

how did we approach things this week yeah after the very serious matter of the championship draft, we've actually done something

fairly serious here where, you know, it's kind of five weeks since we last had any football.

We're now entering the second phase of lockdown, and I guess it's a good chance for us to have a

look at the situation at the moment speak to someone who knows more than the new or I or most other

people in the athletics match later and just check in and see what the current you know what the

current vibe is around the EFL whether anything's changed from the doom or gloom from a few weeks ago, whether any outcome is more likely than not, whether we should be more concerned or less concerned for certain clubs.

And if there's any, anything we can do going forward to ensure that clubs welfare and safety

is maintained. So we have we've spoken to Matt on the phone already about all of these

questions, someone who is covering this stuff regularly for our sponsors, the athletic and doing so

absolutely brilliantly as well. So what we learned, well, what we knew

already, but what we learned certainly five weeks ago when Matt was on this very podcast

at the initial time where football had just been suspended a few days before, what you learn
