0:00.0	Hey, welcome to a bonus episode of Not the Top 20 podcast. This is going to be a discussion about Saturday night EFL highlights with my friend and former colleague, Colin Murray.
0:25.4	We worked for five years on terrestrial Saturday night highlight shows, first on Channel 5 and then four years on EFL on Quest.
0:35.2	This is going to be a lot of memories and some thoughts. And we'll see what comes out in
0:39.5	the wash because it's been a couple of years since we worked on this show together, Cole.
0:43.2	I'm personally very proud of the work that we, and I say we, meaning the whole team, that we
0:49.5	did to make what I felt was a good EFL highlight show on a Saturday night at 9 o'clock,
0:55.5	two hours long.
0:56.6	And so I'm likely to be quite biased in some of this discussion.
0:59.9	I think we made a great show.
1:01.5	The one place I want to start is with a negative.
1:04.7	That theme music was absolutely terrible.
1:09.2	I'm not sure it was terrible.
1:10.4	It was unremarkable.
1:12.7	Guitars, while most of my collection would be based in guitars,
1:16.7	is not a good sort of prerequisite for a theme tune for a sports show.
1:21.2	Like, nobody wants an indie B side is their theme tune.
1:25.6	And it was kind of that kind of library theme tune. But I think
1:29.0	that's true. Actually, I think it was a library track. But it's actually a great place to start
1:33.3	because that would explain in one little microcosm the budget of the FL and Quest and the channel
1:42.6	five highlights before in that it wasn't a paid tune.
1:46.5	It's what they call a library tune.
1:48.1	You get these CDs of rights-free music and for like a one-off fee you can use it.
