Welcome to our Thursday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth.

Today I'm drawing close to the end of my second week of teaching on effortless change.

And I tell you this is just a powerful teaching. This is one of the things that God has used in my life so powerfully.

And I've had many, many other people say the same thing.

Everybody needs to be growing. We need to be changing. And yet it's a bad experience for most people.

But it actually should be a good experience if we do it God's way.

God's way of bringing change is to use the word of God like a seed.

And in the same way as you just take a seed and plant it in the ground and give it time, that seed will spring and grow up and bear fruit.

Well, it just happens automatically. And that's the verse that I used in the parable down here in Mark chapter 4, in verse 28,

where it says the earth just brings forth fruit of herself. That word in the Greek there is automatos. It's automatically.

So I taught from that parable. I taught from the parable about the grain of mustard seed growing into this huge tree.

And then on our programs this week, I've been talking about Mark chapter 4 and beginning in verse 14, down through verse 20,

where it talks about this man who just spread seed around and it landed on four different types of ground.

The seed is symbolic of the word of God and the soil is symbolic of a heart.

You've got to get the word of God off of the book, off of the shelf, and into your heart.

And when you do that, just like a seed gets in the ground and it germinates and starts drawing out all of this life,

the word of God when it gets in your heart, it will start producing fruit.

So the very first example that he gave was the seed landed on this place that the path had been,
