Welcome to our Thursday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth.

Today I'm continuing a series that I've entitled Effortless Change.

I tell you, I love this teaching.

This is one of the things that just totally transformed my life.

And I've literally had hundreds of people come up to me and tell me that this is what God used to really give them stability in their life and to show them kind of a path to run on.

Most people know that we need to change. They know that there's more that they aren't experiencing everything that God has for them, and yet they just are at a loss.

Like, how do I get from where I am to where I need to go?

And I'm telling you the answer is that you take the seed of God's Word, you plan it in your heart, and it just automatically begins to start bringing fruit.

Now, I know that that is easy to say, and a lot of people think, oh, it's got to be more complicated than that, because most people make change this laborious thing, and it's painful, and they have to go through all this stuff.

It's because they aren't going about it God's way.

This is the parable that I've been using out of Mark chapter 4, where Jesus said this in Mark chapter 4 verse 26,

so is the kingdom of God as if a man should cast seed into the ground, and he should sleep and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up.

He knows not how, for the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself, first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear, but when the fruit is brought forth immediately, he put it in the sickle because the harvest is come.

And I've been teaching on this for a couple of days, I hadn't got time to go back through all of this, but the Word of God is to the kingdom of God, the way that a seed is to this natural world.

Life doesn't exist in this natural world without seeds, in plants, in animals, and in people.

You have to have a seed, that's how this whole world system operates, and the kingdom of God operates off of seeds too, but the Word of God is the seed.

And many Christians are trying to have a child give birth to a miracle, but they've never planted a seed.
