Welcome to our Thursday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth.

Today I'm continuing my series on effortless change and tomorrow is going to be my last day to teach on this on our television program.

So I encourage you to please get these materials.

I've got this book in English or in Spanish.

And then I've also got a study guide that is in English and in Spanish.

And then we have CDs and DVDs that were taken from my television program.

And I promise you that this teaching that I've been doing about the importance of God's Word to your spiritual life is just vital.

It is necessary. This is foundational truth.

And I know that most Christians would sit there and say that yes, the Bible is important. Yes, it's necessary.

But in practice, very few people have taken God's Word and focused on it and made it the focus of their life.

I've used this verse often, but over in Joshua chapter 1 verse 8, it says,

this book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate there in day and night that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein.

For then you shall make your way prosperous and then you shall have good success.

The Bible teaches that we are supposed to let this dominate us.

The truth of what God says is supposed to be more important to us than the truth of a doctor, a lawyer, a banker, a friend, a relative, circumstances, what you see with your eyes, what you hear with your ears.

You need to get to where God's Word is more real to you than anything else.

And very few Christians are there. And yet they desire all of these benefits like Joshua 1, 8 where it says,
