You know, we were talking earlier about, you know, the game of the NBA and how, you know, coaches and players have talked about how the seasons wait too long.

Nobody's going to take any

less money, but the game has changed significantly. I mean, really significantly, and it has been

changed it for 20 years. And now it's gotten to the point where everybody's just trying to

run up and down to court. Nobody really wants to play defense. I don't say nobody, but people just

aren't playing the way that they would normally play in a game that didn't involve the three-point shooting. You know, back in the day when, you know, Dean Smith would go four corners. You know, that was not fun either. No. You know, so we've gotten to the extreme now the other way where the analytics, say keep shooting just keep shooting just keep shooting and

whether or not you know phil sims likes analytics or not coaches are hired and fired because of it

and now we'd also say that would be the same in baseball as well but there's nothing worse from a fan's

perspective when you see a player not giving maximum effort.

There is nothing worse because it is insulting to the fan who buys the ticket,

who pays for the rights to watch the games on TV,

who buys the jerseys, who goes to the games and buys their kids,

you know, whatever the kids want and ends up spending an extra 500 bucks at a game.

And then you see, you know, your team not giving maximum effort.

And that right now is a situation for the Rangers captain.

And that is, you know, of course, Miller.

Yeah, J.T. Miller. And he is, he's hearing it from the fan base because the fan base, listen, you know, he came back to training camp this year with this no BS T-shirt. You know, this is all going to be about we're all in. We're all playing hard. And for the most part, I always feel like he plays hard. And, you know, he goes after it and he's a tough guy and he's a, you know, a hard-nosed guy.

He's been in the league for quite some time.

We traded him way when he was rising and now we brought him back when he's fading. And it didn't make any sense to me, but, you know, quite frankly, he's starting to feel it from the fans. and thankfully they're on the West Coast
