We are doing a listener email show, anything you want to banter about before we begin?

Yeah, I want to talk about something I heard and an answer said yesterday, other people might have heard it as well.

If they were watching the exact same game at the exact same time that I was, it was an announcer talking about Noah Sindergard.

And what he said about Noah Sindergard is, do I have to quote, oh yeah, all right, well anyway, there's three keywords that matter.

It's the announcer said that Sindergard has to be the best pitcher in baseball right now.

He said it very emphatically. He said he repeated it over and over again.

And then when his partner, not argumentatively, but said, yeah, no, it's an interesting discussion.

Some of the other names that come to mind are Clayton Kershaw and the other guy said, no.

No.

And the key thing I think is, the reason I bring it up is because of, I want to talk about right now.

You hear this sometimes where a person will use some incredible hyperbole to describe a player and then at the end tack on right now.

And so then it's sort of a way of cheating.

Like you're not necessarily saying that Noah Sindergard is actually the best pitcher in baseball.

But right now he is like for these five minutes he is or for these two months he is and it creates this sort of heisenbergian uncertainty where it cannot be proven or disproven.

And no one even knows what you mean. And like for how long what is your time period is this looking backward is it looking forward?

Are you saying that his last start on Tuesday last Tuesday nobody pitch better on Tuesday than he did or are you saying something bigger and broader than that.
