Good morning and welcome to episode 737 of Effectively Wild, the daily podcast from baseball

0:24.4

perspective brought to you by the play index at baseballreference.com. I'm Sam Miller with

0:29.5

Ben Lemberg of Greenland. Hi Ben, how are you Ben? I'm great. What a weekend. Yeah, baseball

0:35.5

was all over the place. I was talking about good wife. Oh yeah, I should have seen that

0:40.4

coming. Solid, solid effort there. It was in fine form. Yeah, it was pretty good. Anything

0:48.8

else to talk about? That was it. I spent my weekend looking forward to and watching that

0:53.2

episode. Anything else to do anything else? I watched some baseball, wrote part of a book. There

1:45.2

game overall, which is a record. And there was Echero pitching and there was Chris Sale throwing

1:51.6

a 50 mile-power pitch and Kershaw getting the 300 strikeouts and just tons of stuff. Yeah, I didn't

1:59.0

see the Chris Sale one send it to me. Try. Yeah, he threw a 97 mile-power fast fall and then he followed

2:05.6

that with a 50 mile-power EFIS sort of thing. And then he went back to the slider. And poor James

2:12.1

McKen ended up striking out. It was really not a fair fight. But how do you how do you like the

2:18.5

Sunday thing where all the game was done? I liked it. It was good. I had not even a second screen

2:24.4

experience. I had a third screen experience going on. I had the the Rangers game on the TV and the
