It is Hall of Fame induction day.

We or I tried to think of a way that we might not talk about the Hall of Fame, but I couldn't do it.

So we're going to talk about the Hall of Fame.

The results will be announced today at 2pm, I think.

I will listen, I think I'll listen to the conference calls with the people who are just elected.

I don't know why, but maybe someone will say something interesting.

Like, I did steroids.

But the baseballperspectus ballot is out this morning, Wednesday morning, if you're listening.

And I want to talk about that just for a minute.

We had 41 voters between writers and tech people and interns and basically everyone on the staff.

And the results were, well, we asked people to do two things.

We asked people to vote as if there were no 10 player limit and put down all the people that they would vote for if they could.

And then also to to rank the first 10 players that they would vote for under the BBWA rules.
