and joined today by Colin Wires, who has been on the podcast a couple times in the past

when he was ill and had terrible, terrible colds that many of you emailed us to complain about.

He is fully healthy now and sounds excellent, so we've had him back.

Not only to celebrate his good health but to pass on some exciting news.

Colin has accepted a position as a mathematical

modeler for the Houston Astros.

I guess you could say his last day as Baseball Prospectus

at Baseball Prospectus, where he has been writing for a few years now

and has served as the director of research.
