I am in far northern California next to a creek.

Okay, I can't hear the creek, but I'll take your word for it.

It's interesting because it's super loud.

I don't know, maybe I can.

Maybe I was just taking it as background noise or static or something.

Maybe it's just creek.

I mean, when it's on the computer, you hear crickets that I don't hear.

You hear animals that I don't hear.

It's interesting how sensitive the computer microphone is, but not the phone.

I'll let you know if a bear is approaching.

There are bears here, although not really.

It's more mountain lion is the word.

When I was a kid, actually, I used to come up here when I was a kid.

And once there was a mountain lion that the caretaker nearby here saw and shot dead.

And he hung the mountain lion from a tree to scare off other mountain lions.

And we had some friends who were visiting with us.

And one of them went out walking at like six in the morning alone and stumbled upon a hanging mountain lion.
