Hello Meg, hello! We got an end to a fun fact

that I have been trashing and hearing about for a while this week

and I'm kind of relieved because I was very conflicted about this fun fact

I couldn't decide if it was fun or not or whether it was lying

I know it was lying to some extent as all fun facts do

but there was also some truth to it

It was a fun fact about Blue Jays rookie starter, Alec Manoa

and he had a number of starts to begin his career

in which he allowed four or fewer hits

and so I kept seeing this fun fact circulate every time he would start

He got up to his first 10 career starts in which he allowed four hits or fewer

and it's the longest streak of that kind to start a career in MLB history

and on the one hand, Alec Manoa has been very good, very effective

he's been part of this resurgent Blue Jays pitching staff

so it is true that he has been good
