We are going to talk to Doug about the A's and then Pete is going to talk to John Hickey

from the Oakland Tribune, uh, about the A's again.

So let's start with our talking about the A's.

What are we going to ask Doug first?

So, um, we've, uh, talked on the show, Ben and I have, um, about sort of the distinction I draw

between the A's and the Orioles, where the Orioles, essentially the players got lucky

because they didn't play very well and yet they won a lot of games.

Whereas the A's front office got lucky, where they had a bunch of players who aren't very good,

but who did legitimately play well and earned those wins.
