Hello, hello, we are doing previews today and it's going to be almost the entire episode because they lasted a long time.

First we are going to talk to our friend Annie McCullough about the Dodgers and life and death.

And then we are also going to talk to Rest and Dodd of the Athletic about the Kansas City Royals.

Anything you want to say before we get to Andy which is like twice the length of a typical preview?

Andy is like 70% banter.

Pretty much, yeah. We talked about the Dodgers eventually too.

But there's a lot of extra stuff in there.

So I am hoarding my banter for an episode that's not already an hour and 38 minutes of a tank.

Yeah, well, we've got five minutes maybe.

I just want to point out, I wrote about the competitive picture of baseball at the ringer this week.

It's something we sort of touched on, I think, last week a little bit.

But the National League is just so much more exciting this year than the American League, I think, in general.

And specifically a couple of divisions within the National League.

So we're going to talk about the Royals who I think are one of the more exciting teams in the AL for me, not because of whether they're going to win, which they aren't.

But how they might win or at least how they might lose.

But it is kind of striking just to see the difference like I looked at the projections for the teams in each league and in each division and sort of looked at how tightly they're bunched up.
