Hi, this is your host Michael O'Zare. Welcome to this week's edition of Manager Tools.

If you're a new listener, welcome. Manager Tools is a weekly podcast focused on management skills

and techniques to improve your management performance. If you're a returning listener, thanks.

As busy managers ourselves, we understand the commitment you've demonstrated by taking this time

with us, hoping to learn something meaningful you can take into your leadership role today.

Today we'll be focusing on answering some questions we've received and conducting effective meetings,

as well as some follow-up questions we received on the topics of the feedback and model

and one-on-ones. Hey Mark, how are you doing? I'm good, Mike, how are you? I'm doing good. Good.

Now, not everybody knows this, but we restarted this podcast about five times because

I can't get my stuff together. We'll try to see. We'll work out. I hope so. I hope so.

Hey, we promised everybody last time that we were going to have our first two shows on meetings,

and then we're going to end the discussion with a review of meetings, one-on-ones, feedback,

go through some questions that folks have had from us, had for us, either on email or on the website.

We've gotten some great comments and questions. It's been great. Let's get right back. Let's get

right into it. Sure. Somebody asked us about in the beginning of the meeting agenda,

we have five minutes for introductions. Somebody has a question about whether or not that

provided people an excuse to skip the intro and just show it five minutes late every time.
